Import Coordinator

The Role:

• Booking shipments on FOB basis from USA and Asia
• Processing and arranging Deliveries in accordance with arrival and sailing schedules

• Liaising with other Freight Forwarders and Customers
• Managing stock and delivery documents
• Processing of shipping documentation and action UK customs clearance (full training provided)
• Negotiating rates with hauliers and Freight Forwarders
• Knowledge of Port and HMRC systems including Destin8, CNS and CDS

• Creating and sending invoices

The ideal candidate:

• Import operations experience essential

• Driving licence and access to own car due to office location
• Happy to work in the office full time
• Friendly with good interpersonal skills
