About the Role
An international shipping firm in Liverpool is looking for an experienced Inside Sales Coordinator to join them on a fixed term contract for 12 months. This role will work closely with the Inside Sales Manager to develop business, meet targets and provide competitive rate quotations to customers. As well as this you will provide a quality customer service ensuring customers are notified of vessel schedule options and ensuring they are aware of any of news or updates.
This is a key role to develop and increase business volumes as well as managing agreements for all commercial departments.
The Inside Sales Coordinator will be responsible for:
- Strong Account Management to develop new and organic growth
- Liaising closely with Head Office Trade teams to secure competitive pricing to develop volumes
- Providing rate quotations and follow up on previous quotations
- Achieving set budget for annual volume growth
- Producing Ad hoc reporting and investigation for management team
- Maintain customer relationships to ensure volume targets are met by way of regular meetings/conference calls
Essential Requirements are:
- Previous experience in a sales environment
- Shipping experience is preferred
- Ability to establish and maintain relationships
- Confident communicator
- Excellent IT skills
