About the Role

Due to continued growth and success on the Maritime and Logistics desk, we are looking to recruit a new consultant to our team. The successful candidate must be a professional individual who takes pride in their work and is self-motivated to succeed in their job role. Responsibilities include:

  • Liaising closely with a range of clients, assessing their requirements, and forming long lasting working relationships with them
  • Accurately processing candidate CV’s, contacting them and assessing them over the phone and videocall/face to face
  • Producing tailored candidate shortlists based on each individual clients needs and sending over suitable candidates in a timely manner
  • Arranging interviews and obtaining feedback from both candidates and clients
  • Advert management: ensuring all vacancies are advertised correctly, manually posting all adverts on to the relevant sites and proactively monitoring the number applications which come through
  • Obtaining references for candidates, using the opportunity for business development for potential clients
  • Producing mailshots, including candidate selection, presentation, and administration
  • Responsible for using social media tools and professional networking sites to promote Marshall Moore, as well as attract key talent
  • Maintaining and updating the internal company database on a regular basis

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Previous experience in a Maritime and Logistics based role is preferred but not essential
  • All applicants must either be a graduate or alternatively have a minimum of 6 months experience working in a professional office environment
  • An outgoing, professional and friendly character, with a flexible attitude to all tasks given
  • Desire to take responsibility for own work load and ability to use initiative
  • Excellent communication skills demonstrated by the proven use of the telephone
  • Strong work ethic and good attention to detail
