Accounts Assistant

A highly reputable and well-established firm of Chartered Accountants are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their busy and friendly team on a permanent basis. My client are well known in their field for providing a specialist service to a diverse portfolio of clients, including tax, accounts, audit and overall business advisory.

The Accounts Assistant will be working closely with a highly experienced team of Accountants who will offer training and support. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks including accounts preparation, tax computations, management accounts and VAT returns.

This is a varied, all round role that can provide a salary up to £20,000 plus full study support and opportunities for career development.

The Accounts Assistant will be responsible for:

• Completing year end accounts
• Bank reconciliations, prepayments, accruals
• Corporate tax computations
• VAT Returns
• Assisting with year end accounts

The successful candidate will have the following skills & experience:

• Similar experience in a similar role from an accountancy practice
• Studying towards AAT
• Professional communication both written and verbal
