A rare opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable/Purchase Ledger Clerk has come up within one of Merseyside’s most well established organisations. Based in North Liverpool, the successful candidate will be employed on an initial 12 month Fixed Term Contract with lots of opportunities for progression and to be taken on permanently. You will join fast paced finance team with a family atmosphere, be trained and supported every step of the way and be working in a company that offers long term progression opportunities.

A typical day will involve:

  • Processing a high volume of Purchase invoices onto a finance system
  • Reconciling various accounts
  • Liaising with important suppliers
  • Issuing statements regularly
  • Working with your team to hit deadlines and ensure invoices are paid quickly

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Working/recently worked in a similar Purchase Ledger/Accounts Payable or high volume transactional finance role
  • Have some knowledge of Financial systems
  • Available at short notice or immediately to start the next chapter
  • Hard working with a strong eye for detail
