About the Role

A globally renowned accountancy and business advisory firm is looking to appoint an Insolvency Senior Associate to their thriving team on a permanent basis. This market leading firm completed a successful merger and have been growing ever since, with an increase in reported profits and a recent purchase of extra office space to accommodate the ever-expanding team!

Working in a busy and sociable environment, the Insolvency Senior Associate will take responsibility for overseeing the team’s progress, training new staff members and undertaking process improvement projects as required.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced and innovative individual who will play a significant role in overseeing a small team of Assistant Cashiers during the development of the Liverpool operational hub.

The Insolvency Senior Associate will:

  • Be fully proficient in all duties and responsibilities expected of a cashier (processing and reconciliation duties)
  • Supervise, allocate work and review output(s) of cashiering staff in the team
  • Maintain and enhance all operational banking relationships.
  • Keep service levels and product offering of the team under review
  • Ensure procedures and systems are updated regularly to reflect best practice
  • Undertake process improvement projects as may be required
  • Deliver training to new staff

Essential requirements are:

  • 3+ years practical experience in insolvency and/or treasury is essential
  • Knowledge of the Insolvency system IPS is advantageous
  • IT skills - strong working knowledge of MS Office and similar desktop applications
  • IPSsoftware knowledge is advantageous. Willingness to learn new systems is essential
  • Well presented with a professional level of communication - both verbal and written
  • Good time management, organisation skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and complete tasks with limited supervision
  • Ability to work well in a team environment - mentoring/supervising experience is advantageous
  • Ability to use own initiative and take a flexible approach
