Export Customer Service Advisor

An established shipping firm in Liverpool is looking for an Export Customer Service Advisor to join them on a permanent basis.  They will be required to deal with the company’s largest export customers, processing booking request, resolving queries and advising them of the products and services offered.

In return for your expertise the company are offering an excellent salary and benefits package. The successful candidate will have excellent customer service experience and knowledge of shipping or freight forwarding is preferred.

Reporting to the Export Sales Manager, the Export Customer Service Advisor will be responsible for:

  • Processing export bookings
  • Ensuring invoice queries are resolved in a timely manner
  • Dealing with a broad range of customer queries
  • Liaising closely with other departments within the business
  • Having a strong knowledge of products and services
  • Raising invoices
  • Implementing SOP’s

Essential Requirements are:

  • Shipping or freight forwarding knowledge
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
