ACA / ACCA Qualified Manager – Independent Practice

An exciting ACA / ACCA Qualified Manager opportunity has arisen with a well-established firm based in Oldham. This is a rare opportunity within practice for you to join a dynamic and progressive firm with a reputation for providing excellent and bespoke accountancy services to a range of clients.

As ACA / ACCA Qualified Manager, your role will entail managing your own portfolio of clients, along with delegating work to your team. You will also head-up the firm’s personal and corporate tax function. In addition, you will take responsibility for training and supporting a team of Senior / Semi-Senior Accountants, along with overseeing the development of your team as a whole.

This role will enable you to make a significant contribution to a progressive firm that has ambitious growth plans; therefore, this role would be an excellent fit for an enterprising and driven ACA / ACCA Qualified candidate.

The ACA / ACCA Qualified Manager will be responsible for:

  • Managing a portfolio of clients
  • Heading-up the personal and corporate tax department
  • Managing, motivating and training a team of Senior and Semi-Senior accountants
  • Review of accounts preparation and basic personal/corporate tax returns
  • Reviewing software packages

Essential Requirements are:

  • ACA / ACCA Qualified with significant experience at management level in general practice
  • Extensive experience in both personal and corporate tax in order to oversee the tax function
